London Health Sciences Centre's LonDIS

London Health Sciences Centre's Pharmacy Services developed one of the first regional Drug Information Centres (LonDIS) in Ontario. LonDIS is a drug information service that provides support to health professionals in hospital and community pharmacies, as well as other health care organizations across Southwestern Ontario by answering drug information questions electronically or verbally.

Dishout IT Solutions developed a web application to manage the drug information questions submitted by pharmacies across Southwestern Ontario as well as the answers provided by Pharmacy Services. There are approximately 500 questions and answers added to the database per month.
